From Naoko Takeuchi's marvelous girls' manga, "Sailor Moon." This was a very sentimental picture for me, because Takeuchi-San's comic book was very precious to me in middle school. I never cared that much for the anime, (especially the butchered American dub) but the original manga (comic) was fantastic. Takeuchi had such a flowing, easy drawing style and the story was epic, romantic, and inspiring.
And so, I finally drew my all time favorite couple ever in the universe, Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion. I tried to incorporate a tiny ode to the original Greek myth, props if you catch it. I hope you like this one! Photoshop CS4. 2009. P.S. - somehow I colored this ENTIRE thing in one night. I have no idea how I did that. Magic? P.P.S. - Here's what nine years of improvement will do.
