Jupiter: [link] Mars: [link] Venus: [link] The second installment of the Sailor Moon redesigns . The W.I.P. with all the other inner scouts can be found here: [link] This is Silver Millennium armor, and I decided to base it on the sort of Roman "armor" found in ancient statuary. It's like the ridiculous armor on statues of Augustus or Caesar; no one ever actually WORE armor like this, but it recalls all sorts of images of the past and of royalty/power. All of the filigree/embossing on the armor is different for each scout; Mercury's is supposed to be covered in wave/bubble shapes, but I think it just sort of looks weird. And most importantly, I based each scout on a famous actress. Can you guess who I used for Mercury? Here's a hint, she's a very smart young actress who graduated from Harvard with a degree in psychology. ----- Wonderful pose references:  |
